Founded by the Aguilar family of La Freidera, Antonio’s Ecotours has been offering accommodations, meals and whale-watching excursions for over 25 years. Antonio and Maria Aguilar are long time residents at Laguna San Ignacio.  Multiple generations of the Aguilar family  extend from the nearby rugged mountain ranchos to the remote fishing campos that dot the coastline of Baja California Sur. Antonio is one of the region’s whale-watching pioneers, while Maria’s a local legend for her fresh-caught seafood meals done traditional Baja California style.

Baja Expeditions past partnership added special touches to the cabañas, with in-room sinks and comfy comforters. We relocated many of the cabins so that all now have a view of the lovely secluded beach only steps away and added on a back porch to each cabaña. We amped up the solar and wind capacity to support an outlet in each cabaña in addition to the existing external and internal lighting.
