A day trip is one whale watching excursion that lasts a total of 2 hours. A short 15 minute boat ride takes you to the whale watching area. Each boat is allowed a maximum of 90 minutes inside the whale watching area. A lot of amazing things can happen in 90 minutes. Another 15 minute ride brings you back to the camp where you can enjoy a meal of fresh regional sea food caught in Laguna San Ignacio.
Transportation is also available from the town of San Ignacio. You can park you car in San Ignacio square and travel the final 50 miles in comfort in one of our passenger vans that seat 12 people comfortably. The cost is 140 USD for the round trip for 1-6 people and 20 USD per person for 7-12 people in the van.
