Whale watching excursion begins around 10:30am with a steaming cup of coffee or fresh juice and a snack. Our naturalist guides provide a short orientation and safety briefing and accompany you in the skiff to point out interesting behaviors and to answer all of your questions. Our beach is ideal for a dry loading platform to board the panga, skiff. Maximum of 8 guests each get their own ‘window’ seat – ideal to reach out to stroke or give a kiss to a baby whale! Our skiff drivers, (Yes, Daniel and Antonio remain head Captains!) are the most respectful and experienced captains in the lagoon. Enter the whale watching area (about 15 min from camp) and roll up your sleeves and get your camera ready for the action. We are only allowed 90 consecutive, soul-touching, imagination-grabbing minutes in the area, but we can arrange for all day outings* too! Return to camp for a delicious lunch and a cold cerveza!
*In order to spend double the amount of time with the whales in one day, you must arrive by 9am or stay until 5pm. Please contact us for more details.
